SPECIAL NEWSLETTER!Okay so it’s NOT full-moon for a change! I actually missed the full-moon newsletter on the 22nd June because I spent the day at Pride and have also been feeling low since my news about surgery being cancelled. BUT welcome to the July not-full-moon newsletter 💖TRANSITION UPDATE First up, the surgery stuff. As those who follow me on Facebook will already know, I had my surgery consultation, which went swimmingly - I was given a date to have top surgery at the end of July and all my other appointments (pre- and post-op) were organised… only to have it cancelled a couple of weeks later. The reasons were fair - my particular blood cancer carries a high risk of clotting and/or haemorrhaging so a haematologist will need to be consulted first. That’s going to mean a much longer process of bone marrow biopsy and more tests to establish whether or not I can have the surgery. Usually so-called ‘elective’ surgery is contraindicated for people with my condition, but I think I have a good chance, especially if I’m willing to make concessions (which I am). We’ll see… Anyway, despite the fact I haven’t lost hope, it’s really knocked me, so I’ve been dropping the ball on all sorts of things, including the newsletter ❤️ Other than that, tomorrow is my 7 months on testosterone monthiversary. My dose was reduced last time due to me being too absorbent lol. Voice continuing to deepen and settle, thighs continuing to hold the fort for fur-development, though tiny improvements on my arms, belly & lip-area. 🎉🎉🎉 On to your newsletter & special update!!🔵What to expect in this one:1. Writing updates2. The Claiming Moon3. SERIES LINK FOR HAUNTED HEARTS!4. Amazing new releases from Ross J. Kinnaird, Sophia Soames, Zile Elliven and Robin Knight 🥳!!5. Control download (free novella)6. The Sam Gillespie Expansion Pack (NSFW!!!!!!) with a theme of Twos…

BUCK MOON/‘CLAIMING MOON’New antlers emerge around this time, hence ‘Buck Moon’, though I LOVE the Celtic name ‘the Claiming Moon’! Nobody knows why it’s called that, though I imagine it had to do with Beltane (a fertility festival) having taken place just 2 months previously… We’re just ending out Oak Moon and about to move into Holly Moon - the Holly King having defeated the Oak King at Summer Solstice, halting and reversing the ever-lengthening days. The Holly King will then rule till Midwinter, gradually growing stronger… As thorny evergreens with blood-red berries, hollies pulse with ancient symbolism. Prior to Christianity (& alongside) it was thought to protect the home from malevolent faeries and/or to shelter benevolent faeries throughout the winter months. As protective habitats it was forbidden to cut down a whole tree - even holly in hedges was left uncut. The superstitious said that stopped witches running along the hedge-tops, but farmers also used their distinctive evergreen forms to establish sight-lines during winter ploughing. The hard, white, coppiced wood had many uses from tool handles to chess pieces, whips and horse-drawn carriages. For this reason, it’s associated with control.

SOPHIA SOAMES: Second WinterOn Release 15th July) Mybook.to/SecondWinter Ten years ago, Ned Anderson made the biggest mistake of his life. Leaving. Now he’s been invited to go back to Sweden for his exchange-year high school reunion. It’s a chance to reunite with all the people he once considered friends, and the invite promises a charcuterie board, open bar, all that…crap.
Teddy Backman has become exactly what everyone expected of him. He runs his farm the way his father once did. Gets up in the morning and gets things done. Tries to remember what’s next. Wonders why he feels so violently lonely when he’s surrounded by so many good things. The sun. The sky. The earth. The trees. All the trees.
A high school reunion is Teddy’s idea of a nightmare, and he probably shouldn’t let anyone drag him along. He’ll only regret it.
But what’s the point of regret in the grander scale of things? It’s not like Ned Anderson’s going to turn up, is it? The guy who fled straight back to Arizona without even a last longing glance…
Second Winter is the story of something that was always there. A second chance at happiness in the last place you’d expect to find it. The book is a standalone contemporary M/M romance with a HEA, dealing with the death of a loved one and the grief that follows.

ZILE ELLIVEN: Runaway Magic (Guardians of Boston 1)On Release July 20th https://mybook.to/RunawayMagic Cym: Freak. Disaster. Mistake. Cym had heard it all. His magical family wasn’t content to lock him away ‘for the greater good’ anymore. No. Now they wanted him dead. Protection? What was that? Cym had never known anyone who wanted to keep him safe. Either he relied on himself or he was toast. So when he landed in the lap of an assassin, Cym thought his luck was up. Little did he know his story was only beginning. Fourteen: No morals and a quick mind. How many times had Fourteen heard himself described that way? Usually right before getting sent on a mission they’d have to delete from his mind once he completed it. But The Company would never be able to make him forget the terrified young man who landed in his lap during a firefight. Not when his touch made the icy cage of Fourteen’s conditioning burn away. For someone who could barely be considered a person, Fourteen was finding it shockingly easy to act like one around Cym. Maybe that was why he was willing to do anything to keep him safe. He’d have to break Cym’s bad habit of running from him first, though. Runaway Magic is a 114,000 word, slow-burn urban fantasy with more gayness than you can shake a stick at. You’ll find found family, obsessive love interests, and, of course, magic.

After some colourful years in which he joined a tantric cult and honed his painting skills (not in erotica) he eventually started erotic painting in his late twenties. 💙💦🌊💧💙💦🌊💧💙💦🌊💧💙💦🌊💧💙A less graphic first gif for this month 😊 but I like the slowness and attention of this, as well as the big smile of the one doing it. And look - it’s another two!
|
Then a graphic second one lol - again two people! Apparently I’m not into solos this month - I blame mirror man on my calendar 💕✌️🐫2️⃣🕑

And a classical one to finish with - this is ‘La Fraternité des Peuples’ (Fraternity/Union of the People) - an 1883 masterpiece by Jules Dalou. I love the incredible detail in this (look at the vein on the forearm!). I also love how into it they look. This spectacular masterpiece is exhibited in the Weddings Room of the Paris Town Hall ❤️ Dalou, you’re my hero.

That’s all for now - I hope you enjoyed this month’s Guid Goss. Wishing you all a wonderful July.Love to all,Tal X
